Effective Date: March 2025 | Last Updated: March 2025

At AdmissionVista, we believe in complete transparency in all financial matters. This Refund & Cancellation Policy clearly outlines the terms governing all fees paid to AdmissionVista. Please read this policy carefully and ensure you fully understand it before signing any agreement or making any payment.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all fees paid to AdmissionVista in connection with our B.Tech admissions consultancy services. It covers:

  • AdmissionVista consultancy fees (collected in two instalments as described below).

  • College application fees or any other amounts paid to or through AdmissionVista on the student's behalf.

  • Any government, counselling portal, or institutional charges facilitated through AdmissionVista.

2. Consultancy Fee Structure

AdmissionVista's consultancy fee is collected in two instalments:

  • First Instalment — 50% of the total consultancy fee is collected upfront at the time of signing the service agreement. This covers initial counselling, profile assessment, JEE score analysis, and college shortlisting.

  • Second Instalment — The remaining 50% is collected just before the formal application is submitted to the selected college. This covers application support, documentation assistance, offer comparison, and final decision support.

The total consultancy fee amount and payment schedule will be clearly stated in the written service agreement signed by both parties before any payment is collected.

3. No Refund Policy — Consultancy Fees

Both instalments of the AdmissionVista consultancy fee are strictly non-refundable once paid. By making payment, the student and parent acknowledge that AdmissionVista has committed time, expertise, and resources to their case from the moment the agreement is signed. No refund will be issued under any of the following circumstances:

  • The student decides not to pursue B.Tech admissions after paying the first instalment.

  • The student does not qualify JEE or fails to meet the college's eligibility criteria.

  • The college rejects the student's application due to the student's academic profile or any student-specific reason.

  • The student does not receive admission in any of the shortlisted colleges due to seat unavailability or reservation policies.

  • The student withdraws from the process at any stage after payment.

  • The student joins the college and later decides to leave or transfer.

  • Personal, financial, family, or any other reasons on the part of the student or parent.

4. No Refund Policy — College and Institutional Fees

Any fees paid to colleges or universities — including application fees, seat confirmation fees, tuition fees, hostel deposits, or any other institutional charges — are governed entirely by the respective institution's refund policy. AdmissionVista has no control over and takes no responsibility for refunds of fees paid to colleges or universities. Students and parents are advised to carefully review the institution's own refund and cancellation terms before making any payment to the institution.

5. Cancellation by AdmissionVista

AdmissionVista reserves the right to cancel services in the following situations:

  • The student or parent provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

  • The student or parent engages in abusive, disrespectful, or unethical behaviour toward AdmissionVista staff.

  • Circumstances beyond AdmissionVista's reasonable control (force majeure) make it impossible to continue services.

If AdmissionVista cancels services for reasons unrelated to client misconduct or false information, a pro-rata refund of the consultancy fee will be calculated based on the proportion of services already delivered at the time of cancellation, and the balance will be refunded within 10 working days.

6. Agreement Supersedes This Policy

In the event of any conflict between this Refund & Cancellation Policy and the terms of the written service agreement signed between AdmissionVista and the client, the written service agreement shall prevail. Clients are encouraged to read their service agreement carefully before signing.

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute regarding fees or cancellations, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mutual discussion in good faith. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Faridabad, Haryana, India, in accordance with applicable Indian law.

8. Changes to This Policy

AdmissionVista reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your payment and as stated in your signed service agreement will govern your engagement.
